I've been on a run of getting cards made lately, which is a good thing as my list of projects is quite long. Here is one from the Card Patterns Sketches blog. I usually make cards with their sketches, but never get the card done on time each week :) So this card is a compromise. I got the sketch done on time, but I made two of them for birthdays that have already passed (my SIL and my boss). I dug out my PTI Flower Fusion sets and tried to recreate the flowers on the patterned paper. The patterned paper actually is a note card my SIL sent as a thank you for Christmas. She always has great note cards, and I save them to cut up and make cards. I gave this card to her on Sunday and I have no idea if she actually realized where the paper came from or not :) I used my PTI Tin Types background for the cardstock strips. More wonky scallops on the edges and the card was done. I actually have a few other ideas for this sketch and I'm hoping to get them done soon. Thanks for stopping by!Thursday, January 19, 2012
